Borders RTS Roblox Wiki
Borders RTS Controls & Keybindings
Essential PC Controls
Borders RTS on PC uses a streamlined control scheme built around two core keys: B for build and T for trade. These shortcuts open the construction panel and diplomatic trade interface without hunting through nested menus — critical when seconds decide border skirmishes on crowded maps like Europe.
Press B to open the build menu. From here you select structures — farms, barracks, ports, refineries, and advanced military installations. Categories mirror the items database. Confirm placements on valid territory tiles; invalid spots gray out automatically during alpha builds.
Press T to open the trade panel. Negotiate resource exchanges with neighboring players — gold for food, gasoline for concrete, or troop support packages. Trading etiquette and optimal deals are covered in our how to trade guide. Never trade from a weakened position without alliance backup.
Movement, Selection & Combat
Click or drag to select territory and units. Most Borders RTS actions contextually activate based on selection — attacking adjacent enemy tiles, reinforcing borders, or merging troop stacks. Right-click or use confirmation prompts to execute march orders depending on your Roblox control preset.
Camera movement uses standard WASD or edge scrolling if enabled in Roblox settings. Zoom in to micro-manage chokepoints on Japan; zoom out for macro view on Asia and North America. Smooth camera control separates reactive defenders from players who lose borders while navigating.
Combat resolves through troop allocation and building support — artillery, anti-air, and naval units modify outcomes. Read our military build guide and win guide for when to commit stacks versus feinting along secondary fronts.
Mobile Controls & Touch UI
The mobile UI adapts Borders RTS for phones and tablets with on-screen buttons replacing keyboard shortcuts. Build and Trade appear as persistent icons along the screen edge — tap Build to mirror the B key menu and Trade to mirror T key negotiations. Layout may shift slightly between iOS and Android Roblox clients.
Pinch to zoom and drag with one finger to pan the map. Two-finger gestures may rotate or tilt depending on Roblox version — disable extra gestures in settings if they interfere with rapid panning during invasions. Tap-select territories; long-press sometimes opens context menus for advanced actions in mobile alpha builds.
Mobile players face tighter UI space during large lobbies. Pre-plan build orders from our builds hub so you spend less time in menus. Use promo codes before mobile sessions to offset slower initial placement speed compared to keyboard players.
Settings, Accessibility & Pro Tips
Open Roblox settings to adjust graphics, sensitivity, and control overlays. Lower graphics on mobile reduces frame drops during massive battles on South America-sized maps. PC players benefit from stable frame rates when microing naval invasions — see our naval invasion guide.
Rebind keys through Roblox if B or T conflict with other bindings. Some players remap build to a mouse side button for faster structure spam during economy rushes. There is no in-game rebind menu yet — expect changes during alpha.
